On Monday, 24th October 2016, Mr. Omer Mohammed Mustafa, director of the e-library system at the University of Zakho introduced an electronic system for the university library. He started by making a training course about the system so that all the staff and the students at the university can use the new system to search, find and borrow the books at any library at the university. With the presence of the president of the university and the vices, the opening session of the training course has been started at 10 am. Afterwards, a couple of training courses have been given to the staff of each faculty/college of the university and many sessions were given to students so that to help them create their accounts and know how to use the system. The training course started with academic staff, then the same training has been given to university students at each faculty and college.
